WE MAKE GAMES.
Tempest Workshop is a full-service board game design and development studio based in Seattle, WA. At the intersection of imagination and craft, we harness unbridled creativity to create games that bring beautiful and amazing experiences to every table.
Founded by alumni of the prolific Prospero Hall, Funko Games, and Forrest-Pruzan Creative studios, our founders and collaborators have experience working together to bring over 250 titles to market — including some of the most critically-acclaimed licensed signature games of all time. We started Tempest Workshop because we believe in the power to positively change lives through human connection and play.

OUR VALUES
BE HUMAN
We are more than the work we do. We’re creatives, friends, siblings, children, parents, partners, and so much more. We celebrate our passions, interests, and differences as the elements that make us who we are, and we approach one another with empathy, vulnerability, and respect. We strive to bring joy to others and we have fun doing it. Work-life balance is a requirement to do our best.
Create together
We are relentlessly and aggressively collaborative, seeking advice and inspiration from peers and teammates along the way. We feel safe and encouraged to share our thoughts and creative energy with one another, trusting that our contributions are considered. We embrace the mindset that the value of our ideas is greater than what makes it into the box. Our greatest accomplishments are only made possible when leveraging all of our imagination.
Have Moxie
We are experts at the impossible. We know that together, no task or undertaking is too great for us to accomplish and we relish each and every bump along the way as a welcome challenge. We err on the side of innovation and audacity. We leave it all on the field, and put our full creative selves behind each project regardless of scope. We dare to dream big.
